We are building an API-first electricity retailer to offer embedded dynamic energy plans. We abstract all legal and operational complexity into a simple API layer and help leading companies launch their own electricity plans. Have a look at our website and our API documentation to learn more.

We raised capital from tier-1 investors, including the founders of Forto, Soundcloud, Dance, Swan, Polarstern Energie, Enode and more.

You will join a lean, talent-dense team and work directly with Nils (CTO). Started by Stefan (CEO) and Nils in 2024, the Nomos team now consists of former researchers, founders and senior engineers united by a deep frustration of the current energy system and the vision to build a category leading enterprise out of Europe.

We work in a beautiful office in Berlin-Mitte. We strive to build a strong culture of effective communication, ownership and belonging. In this critical phase of our venture this translates to working in-person in Berlin with a truly exceptional group of hackers and painters.

Who you are

We are primarily interested in your motivation, ambition and ability to grow. While there is no perfect candidate, the points below give you an indication of what we are looking for:

If technical

You have 2+ years of experience in full-stack development, ideally with TypeScript
You are excited about solving complex engineering challenges in the energy space
You are driven by nonconformist curiosity and have shown this in your career or side projects - we’re excited to hear about these!
