We help hardware companies launch their own electricity plans by abstracting all legal and operational complexity of an electricity retailer into a simple API layer.
Nomos is a licensed and regulated electricity retailer focused on bringing dynamic electricity plans to consumers by partnering with manufacturers and installers of energy assets (heat pumps, PV, wall boxes). By transforming businesses into full-service providers and saving energy costs for consumers, we aim to reorganize the power structures in the energy industry.

Still in stealth, we have raised a $2m pre-seed round from tier-1 investors, including the founders of Forto, Soundcloud, Dance, Swan, Polarstern Energie, Enode and more.
You would join as the first non-engineering hire and work closely with Stefan (CEO). Nils (CTO) and I have known each other for over 7 years now and became obsessed with building applications for European’s future energy system during our studies at Stanford and Cambridge.
We work in a beautiful office in Berlin-Mitte. We strive to build a strong culture of effective communication, ownership and belonging. In this critical phase of our venture this translates to working in-person in Berlin with a likeminded group of humble and ambitious people.
Make it look easy. Operating a full-service electricity retailer is no small feat. You will be pivotal in servicing our customers (aka getting your hands dirty), defining core processes and ultimately delivering simplicity by automating our underlying complexity.
